Privacy & Personal Data Protection

Updated 23 October 2026 · Notice version 2

Service provider: Awesome! Pte Ltd, UEN 202646687G, trading as MYNCS. Privacy contact: [email protected].

Your contacts are yours.

We do not use your namecard or contact information for our own marketing, sell it, or share it with advertisers. We process it to provide the features you choose to use. People in your saved contacts do not become MYNCS marketing recipients by being uploaded.

We track scan counts to manage your plan allowance and usage. Namecard images and contact details you choose to save are stored so you can manage your contacts. The sections below explain service-provider processing, security, retention and your choices.

Information and purposes

We process account and registration details, authentication records, namecards and images you submit, contacts and notes you save, event and follow-up information, subscription and receipt records, consent records, and technical security and usage information. We use this information to provide the features you request, manage access and billing, support users, protect the service and meet applicable legal obligations. Contact data may come from you, your authorised users or a person sharing a namecard.

Scanning, translation and business checks

When you request AI namecard scanning, the submitted image is sent to OpenAI through its API to extract information for your review. When you request a business check, company name, website, city and country are used for AI-assisted public web research. Business checks are designed not to research the contact person. Review results before saving or acting on them. Manual entry is available if you do not wish to request AI scanning.

When you choose Translate in an introduction draft, the message text is sent to OpenAI to translate it into your selected language. Review the translated text before sending. Translation does not automatically send the message or update your saved templates.

Our AI requests disable stored response state. This does not guarantee zero retention by the provider. OpenAI describes separate abuse-monitoring retention, generally up to 30 days with stated exceptions. Provider processing may take place outside Singapore. See OpenAI’s API data controls. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information.

Hosting, providers and sharing

MYNCS uses Quape server hosting and Cloudflare for website delivery and security. These services may process technical request information such as IP addresses. Requested AI processing uses OpenAI. Payment or contact integrations, when available and selected, process the information necessary for that transaction or transfer through the identified provider. A provider being listed does not mean that payment or email sending is enabled.

Private contacts are accessed through account controls. MYNCS systems store and process the data needed to operate the service. We use your account name, usage information and contact details to manage the service and contact you when technical support is needed. We do not access saved namecards, contacts or images for our own marketing, advertising or data mining. Contact the privacy contact with questions about support or service-provider processing. Publishing a digital namecard makes the selected content accessible to people with its public link. While your account has editing access, you can disable sharing; copies that others already downloaded may remain outside our control. Exported data and transfers you authorise are handled by their recipients. Necessary disclosure may also occur to comply with law, address a security incident or obtain professional advice, subject to applicable safeguards.

We must use appropriate safeguards for service-provider processing and overseas transfers, including the protection required by Singapore’s PDPA. This notice does not represent that all information stays in Singapore or that any provider retains it for zero days.

Marketing and service notices

MYNCS promotions are limited to subscribers and remain subject to applicable consent requirements and their preferences. Accepting the terms or registering is not, by itself, consent to optional marketing. You may withdraw marketing consent through a provided unsubscribe method or by emailing the privacy contact without losing access to MYNCS. Necessary security, account, billing and service notices are handled separately. In-app follow-up reminders do not mean that MYNCS has sent a message to your contacts.

Cookies and browser storage

We use a session cookie for sign-in and browser storage for interface preferences and feature state. Hosting and security services may use their own necessary security technologies. Clearing cookies may sign you out. Do not use shared devices without signing out afterwards.

Retention and deletion

After your free trial ends, you have two calendar months to download or export your contacts, delete your contacts, or delete your account. Paid subscription features will be disabled. If you have not subscribed, we’ll then email you a warning and allow a further 14 days before deletion. Once deletion is completed, your account and its stored information cannot be restored. Download anything you want to keep before the deadline. Accounts with paid or complimentary access, billing history, unused purchased scan credits or referral rewards requiring protection are excluded from this automatic trial-account deletion process. If an email send fails or its outcome is uncertain, automatic deletion is paused for review. The warning states the deletion deadline.

Saved contacts and namecards remain available while held in your account unless deleted or otherwise lawfully removed. You can edit, export and delete your contacts. Deleting a contact removes its current contact record and associated photos when no other contact or namecard still uses those photos. Related security, consent, transaction or support records and backup copies may require separate handling; deleting a contact is not a promise to immediately erase every related record.

We must cease retaining identifiable information when it is no longer needed for its purpose or a legal or business requirement. Backup copies expire through controlled retention processes. Privacy requests can include account closure and deletion; we will explain applicable retention exceptions and the scope of the action. We do not reuse backup information for marketing.

Access, correction, withdrawal and complaints

Contact [email protected] with your request and enough information to identify the relevant account or record. You do not need a MYNCS subscription to raise a privacy concern. Do not send passwords, full payment-card details or identity documents unless a justified, secure verification process has been agreed. We may verify identity and authority before disclosing or changing information and will explain any applicable exception or consequence of withdrawal. Where we process information for a subscriber, we may coordinate with that subscriber to address the request without improperly disclosing another person’s data.

We will respond within applicable legal requirements. If we cannot complete an applicable access or correction request within 30 days, we will provide the required written response timeframe. You may also raise a concern with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Commission. Accepting our terms does not waive the rights of anyone whose information is uploaded.

Protection and incidents

We use account access controls, password hashing, protected session cookies, private file permissions and encrypted integration-credential storage. No system can promise that incidents never occur. We must assess personal data breaches, take reasonable containment and remediation steps, and notify the relevant regulator, affected individuals and/or the responsible subscriber when the law requires.

Our role and changes

We are responsible for our own account administration, security and billing processing. Where we process stored contacts on a subscriber’s behalf, the applicable data-intermediary obligations also apply. Subscribers remain responsible for the lawful collection and use of their contacts. We will update this notice when practices change and provide notice or obtain consent where required. This notice supplements the subscriber agreement; it is not a certification of compliance or a replacement for actual safeguards.
